My dream Job

When I was a little boy, my dream job was gastronomy, I remember watched on the tv many programs of food from all around the world, I were very interested on the food of Italy, because they eat a lot of pasta (noodles) and they have a great diversity of pastas.

My other dream jobs that I had in mind at the time of applying to university where industrial civil engineering or computer science, since I really like to play and spend time on the computer with my friends, seeing the best options so that a PC can function properly and give its best performance, in addition to being able to assemble computers with all their components. Anyway, I always had food engineering as my main dream job, because I am very interested in food, I also have many questions for this career as an example, why are there foods that are better than others, if they are the same? Will they have the same processes?, could you make better food than what exists today? I think I could say many questions, but first I must know all the environments of the food, I must know their tastes, in addition to looking for what people like and prioritizing the healthiness of the food, to later obtain a final process in good condition for the consumer.

My experience in the university is not bad, but neither good, because I don't like the virtual classes, it is not the same sociability with other people.

I would like to have a job in the food industry.

The Best Concert Ever

The best concert ever or music event I have been is lollapalooza 2022 in specially or specifically Martin Garrix, this was at Parque Bicentenario, the festival started at 8 o´clock where there were a lot of artists in the course of the day. Now, about Martin Garrix, I don´t know much about his life, but I know a bit of his dj career, he learned to use the guitar at the age of 8, and in 2004 he expressed his interest in electronic music. He finished his studies at the Herman Brood Academy, a music production school, his first solo single was released titled as "Keygen", besides he published his single "Animals", with which he managed to be the youngest artist to reach the first position of the best sellers on the Beatport portal.

He played in the lolapalooza several of his famous songs for two hours, I was in front of stage or barriers, where there were a hight amount of people, I felt tigh, but it was still a good show, with fireworks and a good staging, besides I jumped with people I had never seen in my life as if we were best friends hahaha, It was an incredible night!!- 

A Country I would like to visit

I don´t know what country I would like visit, but i have in mind or it is of my interest mmm.... Netherlands, because I have a “aunt”(she is friend of my grandma´s) in Netherland that invited me to live in that country, she says to me that the life conditions are one thousand times better than in Chile, besides it offer better job quality and you can survive with your job without to depending anybody, my aunt always to insist that I should go to study in Netherlands, but I want to finish my career in Chile because I feel comfortable, but when I finish my career I would go to a Netherlands to do my thesis, explore food engineering career there and discover new topics with the purpose of arriving in Chile and present my thesis, besides of to teach the I learned in Netherland and also their habits in the food intdustries.

A subject you enjoyed studying

My favorite subject of this semester is calculus which is the logical mathematical thought in which a lot of areas of maths come together in a subject. Sometimes this subject is so dense and very complicated of  understand for me, but this is what makes it so interesting.

I enjoy this subject for many things, one of them are trigonometric functions, sin and cos, and the other known functions. Another thing is what I like numbers in special the set reals.

I learned a lot of things, but my favorite thing learned are derivatives, what are the slope of the tangent line, also I learned the formal definition of a limit and when a limit can exist.

I thought that this subject will be easy for me, because I like the numbers and in the school I had good marks and always understood the contents of the asignature, but to the I have class of calculus in the university, I can understand that this subject not is same that in the school.  

An expert / person in your field that you admire

 An expert in my field that I admire, is my dad, Cristian Montero because he is a person polyvalent, he studied food engeneering and now he is studiying industrial civil engeneering, he only should give the thesis for end up. He have two children, me and my brother.

He teached me many things about the food engeneering, one of which I can emphasize is that it is not matter that if a food is consume very a bit, with the food it is can to create other food or take out some of the food for complement other, so i could understand that every food have a part esential, a part esential where every food it is can difference.

I feel that I had many good luck for have a dad that studied the same field for the which I am passing, maybe in ones years more he and me created a food industrie.

How can your mayor make the world a better place?

The humans always they had the needs of eat, but to measure happening the time, were emerging problems, as problems of salud, also about the impact in the ambient than generate the foods and between others problems.

Therefore, they created foog engeneering, a major where his purpose is it give a good product food for the people, where seening all the process of the foods, from recolect the same product, even as the product it is envased and as it is sold.

Personally I want focus in the part of administration of food engeneering, in where I can control the procces for where pass the foods or also I would like be in where it is see the value nutritive of the aliment and sanitation.

A photo and its story

I don't know if this photo represents well the water, but for me it is a photo where I get to understand how important it's only a bit of it for some people. 

For me the water is essential for human life or better say for all the world, because every day we use it for different things and moments in the life.

I am interested in giving a good use to the water, invert the water in good things, be able to I understand it´s characteristics profundly and creat something important where the protagonist is water, before it disappears from world.

The history of the photo, we see a boy getting water from a container, it came from Africa, where 300 million people, 63% of Africa, don´t have access to drinkable or hygienic water, these situations cause famine and droughts in their territories. 

A meal or food I really like

My food favorite is the noodles with sauce and ground meat, are any kind of noodles scrambled in sauce or you can serve the sauce with ground meat above of the noodles.

For made this dish, first should cook the noodles in water boiled for eight minutes. After cook the ground meat with a litle bit of oil and add salt, also you can add what want (sazonar). Finally, mix the sauce with ground meat and serve the dish as you want.

I like much this dish, because It have a good combination of taste, besides is easy of made and fast of cook.

The noodles is a good option of carbohydrates, than is a basic nutrient, besides him high value energetic help for the persons than do physical exercise, thoug this dish in exces it can generate overweigh in the person.

My Favorite Piece of Technology

The cellphone is my favorite piece of technology in nowdays, because it is an artefact that can be carried everywhere, also is very easy can access to a lot of applications in all moment.

I use the cellphone for lot of things, as watch videos of the class or watch films, I can browser my questions in anymoment, so I can learn about anything, besides I communicate with my friend especially now than I can not see my friends, in time of pandemic.

This device is very important in my life, because I can keep informed about what happens in any part of the world, but also it have his part bad, as when I ignore my family because I am playing with my cellphone.

I recommend the cellphone is used correctly.

WHY DID I CHOOSE MY MAJOR ?
